The Elf
By Lucas Carson Powers
Dear Santa,
I think you should pick me as an elf because I am very good at watching others. I am also very fast and also good at testing toys. The fact is that I am good at watching others because I spy on my brother all the time. I could help you decide who is naughty or nice. It is clear that I am very fast, because I am the fastest kid in second grade. I could deliver presents fast and I could test them to see if they work or not.
Your friend, Lucas
