Lucky Me
By Deborah Dybowski

I found a four-leaf clover.
My luck has turned around.
I hold it tightly in my hand,
for it’s all I ever found.
I don’t want to lose it
before it’s brought me luck.
So, I put it in my pocket
where it becomes stuck.
Stuck to my sticky lollipop.
Unable to get free.
I eat my cherry lollipop
and hope luck soars through me.
