My name is Melynda Miles-Mitchell. I am blessed to be awarded the honorable titles as a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Journalism has been a major part of my life from grade school. I’ve always kept my head in a book or my pencil in my journal.  I love to write and I feel free in doing so! It is my great escape! My mother so graciously passed the gift of writing down to me as an influential English teacher.  I have a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Valdosta State University, as well as, a Masters in Public Administration from Grand Canyon University. I love communicating with people and I believe that writing has one of the greatest impacts in our lives. It is my hope that my writing brings inspiration, love, and laughter to my readers. Enjoy!
